Everything WhatEdge does
The full platform, in plain language. No plan caps how much you send — plans differ on agents, chatbot automations and advanced features, never on how many messages go out.
WhatEdge covers five jobs: campaigns you choose to send, automation triggered by your own systems, selling through a catalogue and forms inside the chat, a shared inbox for the replies that come back, and the reporting that tells you which of it worked. Integrations with Tally, Busy and Google Sheets are what turn the second one from a promise into something that actually runs.
Four features with a page of their own
Each of these is included on every plan, with setup by our team.
Catalogue & ordering
Publish a product catalogue inside WhatsApp and take orders in the conversation, with a shareable link and a printable QR code.
- Images, prices and descriptions, organised by category
- A shareable catalogue link and a printable QR code
- Orders placed in the conversation, not on a separate site
Interactive forms
Native WhatsApp forms for lead capture, appointment booking, feedback, orders and registrations — completed without leaving the chat.
- Opens inside the chat — nothing to click through to
- Multiple choice, short answer, ratings and date pickers
- Responses in your dashboard immediately, exportable
Drip campaigns
Automated message sequences with custom intervals, personalisation, A/B testing and exit conditions that stop on reply.
- Any interval you like between steps — hours, days or weeks
- Exit conditions, so nobody is chased after they have answered
- A/B test the wording and the timing
Re-targeting
Trigger WhatsApp follow-ups from website behaviour and purchase history — abandoned carts, win-backs and post-purchase messages.
- Triggered by page views, abandoned carts or purchase events
- Segment by behaviour, history and dynamic product data
- Tracking installed by our team, included on every plan
What you send on purpose
Bulk broadcast campaigns
Thousands of personalised messages in one action, from a number that will not get blocked for looking like spam.
- Upload from Excel or pick a saved segment
- Merge fields for name, amount, date, project
- Live delivery, read and reply counts
Scheduling
Line up campaigns days or weeks ahead — festival greetings, month-end reminders, launch sequences — and let them go out while the office is closed.
- Schedule a campaign for a date and time
- Smart scheduling around working hours
- Pause or pull a scheduled campaign at any point
Template management
WhatsApp requires pre-approved templates for anything you send first. WhatEdge handles creation, submission and approval tracking.
- Category guidance so approvals are not rejected
- Media, buttons and quick replies supported
- Every approved template ready to reuse
Bulk broadcast campaigns
Send a personalised message to your entire contact list, or a slice of it, in one action. Merge fields pull in name, amount, date, project or anything else on the contact record, so ten thousand messages still read as though each one was written for a single person.
- Upload from Excel, or select an existing saved segment
- Personalisation from any field on the contact record
- Schedule for a date and time, or send immediately
- Live delivery, read and reply counts while the campaign runs
Template management
WhatsApp requires a pre-approved template for anything you send before the customer has written to you. It is the single biggest source of frustration for businesses new to the API, and the part WhatEdge takes off your hands entirely — creation, category selection, submission and approval tracking, with every approved template kept ready to reuse.
- Category guidance, so approvals are not rejected on a technicality
- Media, buttons and quick replies supported
- Version control when you edit an approved template
Three ways to get your list in
The most common reason a WhatsApp campaign never happens is that somebody has to prepare a file first. So there are three routes in, and one of them needs no file at all.
- Upload a CSV — upload the list, map the columns to your message variables, review and send.
- Paste straight from Excel — no file and no upload. Copy the cells out of Excel or Google Sheets, paste them into the grid, fix anything that needs fixing, and send.
- Filter your existing contacts — build a segment from tags, activity, location or any combination, save it, and reuse it for every future campaign.
Chat links and QR codes
A single link or QR that opens a chat with your business, with the first message already filled in. Put a different one on each ad, hoarding, invoice or package, and you finally know which of them is producing enquiries.
What sends itself
The half of the product that most panels do not really have.
Chatbots & smart flows
Answer the same twenty questions automatically, qualify the enquiry, and hand over to a human at the right moment.
- Keyword, button and menu-driven journeys
- Details captured straight onto the contact record
- Handover to a live agent on request or on rule
Google Sheets automation
The sheet your team already updates every morning becomes the engine that sends your payment reminders and follow-ups.
- Map your columns once, then just work as usual
- Trigger on a date, a status change or a schedule
- Different message for each reminder stage
Tally & Busy invoice delivery
Raise the bill exactly as you do today. The customer has it on WhatsApp seconds later, PDF attached.
- Sends as the invoice is raised, with no extra step
- Customer number pulled from your own ledger
- Delivery and read status visible in WhatEdge
Drip campaigns
A sequence spaced over hours, days or weeks — running on its own, and stopping the moment somebody replies or converts.
- Any interval you like between steps
- Exit conditions, so nobody is chased after answering
- A/B test the wording and the timing
Re-targeting
Reach the people who showed interest and then went quiet. Website behaviour and purchase history become the trigger for a WhatsApp message.
- Triggered by page views, abandoned carts or purchase events
- Segment by behaviour, history and dynamic product data
- Tracking set up by our team, included on every plan
Scheduling
Line up campaigns days or weeks ahead — festival greetings, month-end reminders, launch sequences — and let them go out while the office is closed.
- Schedule a campaign for a date and time
- Smart scheduling around working hours
- Pause or pull a scheduled campaign at any point
Chatbots and smart flows
A flow builder that answers questions, collects details, qualifies interest and routes the conversation to the right person. It runs at 2 AM as well as it does at 2 PM, which matters more than it sounds — a large share of enquiries arrive outside working hours, and they go to whoever answers first.
- Keyword, button and menu-driven journeys
- Details captured straight onto the contact record, not into a chat nobody reads later
- Handover to a live agent on request, or on a rule you set
- AI-assisted replies and ChatGPT or Dialogflow flows on higher plans
Trigger-based messaging
Something happens in your system; a message goes out. A bill is raised in Tally or Busy, a payment date arrives in your sheet, a status changes, a form is filled, a lead lands in the CRM. There is no human step in the middle, which is the only reason it happens every time.
Follow-up sequences
Most sales are lost to silence rather than to rejection. Build a sequence that follows up on day 1, day 3 and day 7 — and stops the moment the customer replies, so nobody gets chased after they have already answered.
Sent from Tally and Busy
Raise the invoice the way you always have. It goes to the customer on WhatsApp as it is raised, with the PDF attached.
Your accounting softwareSent from Google Sheets
Due today, due in three days, overdue by a week — a different message at each stage, driven from the sheet your team already updates.
Your own spreadsheetWhat comes back
Automation creates replies. Somebody has to handle them, and it should not be on a personal phone.
Shared team inbox
Your whole team on one business number, with assignment, internal notes and role-based access. No more forwarded screenshots.
- Assign a conversation to an agent or department
- Internal notes nobody outside the team sees
- Full conversation history on every contact
Contact segmentation
Tag, filter and target by behaviour, source or lifecycle stage, so the right message reaches only the people it is for.
- Custom tags and custom fields
- Behaviour and campaign-source filters
- Saved segments you can broadcast to in one click
Lead capture & CRM sync
Every new conversation becomes a lead record with its source and full transcript, pushed into your CRM and assigned to an owner.
- Automatic capture from ads, links and QR codes
- Two-way sync by API or webhook
- Ownership and routing rules
Product catalogue & ordering
Your products inside WhatsApp, browsable in the chat. Customers look, ask, and order without being pushed to a website they will not come back from.
- Images, prices and descriptions, organised by category
- Shareable catalogue link and a printable QR code
- Orders placed in the conversation, not on a separate site
Interactive WhatsApp forms
Forms that open inside the conversation. Nothing to click through to, nothing to load, so people actually finish them.
- Lead capture, bookings, feedback, orders and registrations
- Multiple choice, short answer, ratings and date pickers
- Responses land in your dashboard, exportable or pushed onward
Analytics & reporting
Sent, delivered, read, clicked, replied — per campaign, per template and per team member, all exportable.
- Campaign-level comparison over time
- Template performance and approval status
- Agent response times on the team inbox
Shared team inbox
Every conversation on your business number, visible to the team that should see it — with assignment, internal notes and role-based permissions. It replaces the arrangement most businesses are actually running: one number on one person’s phone, and screenshots forwarded to everybody else.
- Assign a conversation to an agent or to a department
- Internal notes that the customer never sees
- Full conversation history attached to every contact
- Departments and routing, so sales and accounts do not share a queue
Contact segmentation
Tags, custom fields and behaviour-based filters. Build a segment of “enquired in the last 60 days, no purchase” and message exactly them — which is both more effective and much safer for your quality rating than messaging everyone.
What you can see, and what you can plug into
API, webhooks & chat links
Connect anything that can make an HTTP request, and put a trackable click-to-chat link or QR on every ad you run.
- Send from your own application in one call
- Webhooks on every inbound message and status
- Trackable chat links and QR codes per campaign
Official WhatsApp Business API
A verified business account on Meta’s own infrastructure. Not a modified app, not a grey-market panel — so your number stays safe.
- Registration and business verification handled by us
- Green-tick application prepared and submitted
- Enterprise-grade delivery reliability
Google Sheets automation
The sheet your team already updates every morning becomes the engine that sends your payment reminders and follow-ups.
- Map your columns once, then just work as usual
- Trigger on a date, a status change or a schedule
- Different message for each reminder stage
Questions about the platform
No. No WhatEdge plan caps how much you send. Your daily reach is governed by your Meta messaging tier, which rises automatically as your quality rating stays healthy. Plans differ on agents, chatbot automations and advanced features — never on message volume.
Three ways. Upload a CSV and map the columns to your message variables; copy and paste straight out of Excel or Google Sheets into the grid with no file at all; or build a segment from your existing contacts using tags, activity and location filters, and save it to reuse.
A series of WhatsApp messages sent to the same contact over time — after twelve hours, then two days, then a week, at whatever intervals you set. It runs automatically, personalises each message from the contact record, and stops the moment the person replies or converts, so nobody is chased after they have already answered. Included on every plan.
Yes. You can publish a catalogue with images, descriptions, prices and categories, share it as a link or a printable QR code, and take orders in the conversation. It is included on every plan, and our team builds the catalogue from your product list as part of setup.
Yes, and that is the whole point of them. The form opens inside the conversation rather than behind a link, so there is no browser to open and no page to wait for. Completion rates are far higher than a web form sent by message. Lead capture, appointment booking, feedback, orders and registrations are all covered, on every plan.
We do, as part of onboarding, on every plan — it is a small script on your website. From then on, behaviour on your site can trigger a WhatsApp follow-up: an abandoned cart, a product viewed repeatedly, or a customer who has not returned. It still only applies to people who have opted in to hear from you.
